Alexander McQueen: Spring 2013 Ready To Wear
This Alexander McQueen collection was executed by Sarah Burton, who was inspired by bees during her creative process.
Thank goodness for Sarah Burton. With her talent, enthusiasm, and creativity, she was able to dodge the bullet of having to deal with the week long fueds happening between designers and critics. Rising above the mess; staying focused, this woman really kiled it this season.
Her collection was beautiful, interesting, shocking, and... oh... I don't know...PERFECT.
I also love that she keeps her design asthetics in mind with what Alexander McQueen created. She never tries to change the brand, just keeps pushing forward and branching off with him in mind. I was, and am, such a huge fan of Alexander Mcqueen. I was skeptical about Sarah Burton taking over, but I couldn't have been more wrong.
This woman is talented, creative, and has an interesting mind. I'm so happy she's keeping the name alive and staying true to it.
On that note, here is yet another flawless Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen SS 1213 collection:

The comlete runway emsemble. The Bee Keeper idea pops. The headpiece, the heels, the fabric; perfection
Avant Garde heel details, along with the beautiful bee detailed bottoms.

Another details and complete look from the collection.
